"The Girl with All the Gifts" is a post-apocalyptic thriller about a young girl named Melanie, who is part of a group of children being studied in a secure military base after a fungal infection has turned most of humanity into zombie-like creatures called "hungries". The story follows Melanie, her teacher Miss Justineau, and a small group of survivors as they flee the base after a junker attack and navigate a dangerous world filled with hungries and other threats. The group's journey explores themes of survival, humanity, and the nature of the "hungries" and their connection to the fungal infection.
